We meet for worship as an expression of our love for God.
“We love because He first loved us“.
All our services are open to the public, and you are most welcome to join us.
We use projected (large print) words and pictures to enhance our worship, and large print books are available on request. A sound system with hearing loop is installed.
Refreshments are served after the morning and evening services.
If you are unable to attend for any reason, we can help… by providing a recording, so you don’t need to miss out. Please ask us…
10.30am – the Main Service, with Junior Church groups and YaC and Cheese. A crèche facility is available for under 5’s. Finishes at approximately 11.45am, though Communion Services can take a bit longer. Refreshments afterwards include a light lunch.
7.00 pm – pre-service Prayer Time
7.15pm – Open contemporary-style Celebration, with emphasis upon testimony, quiet space and prayer-ministry (including prayers for healing) The service lasts between an hour and 90 minutes.
The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated every month (on second Sunday mornings and fourth Sunday evenings). We welcome all who love the Lord Jesus, irrespective of Christian background, and all who seek Him to His Table.
It happens on the first Sunday of each month at Costa in Tesco on Blue Boar Lane at 2.30pm.
Café Church is coffee with a conscience. It’s the fresh expression of community dealing with issues from a faith perspective. These are round table discussions – all in a Cafe atmosphere
There’s a welcome for everyone – whether a church-goer or not! Take a look and join in.

Messy Church is sometimes available, between 5.00 and 6.45pm, as a fourth event for the weekend. All children MUST be accompanied. Check the calendar for Messy Church dates and details.
We celebrate Holy Communion on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday mornings of the month at 10.30 am, and all are welcome to pop-in for this quiet and brief service.
This is followed by a Prayer Fellowship at 11.00 am, but the kettle is always on by then, and you’ll be sure of a warm welcome. The Prayer Fellowship meets every week.
There are plenty of other regular midweek activities and groups.
Prayer is a day by day and moment by moment discipline for all followers of Jesus. While we know from experience that prayer changes things, we also know that God hears our prayers and often answers them in ways we would not expect.
Anywhere, at any time, we know that the Lord is only a prayer away…
Regular times of prayer are offered here: on Sundays at 7.00 pm, on Tuesdays from 11.00 to 11.45 am, and at the monthly Church Prayer Meeting (second Mondays) at 7.30 pm.
An ongoing ministry of praying, activated as ‘requested prayers’, is covered by an emergency ‘Prayer-Chain’. We also exercise a ‘hands-on prayer-ministry‘ which is available after the morning service and during/after the 7.15 pm celebration.
We occasionally set aside a full week for sustained 24-7 style rolling prayers, or even gather for an ‘all-nighter’!
Since 2007, our regular prayer has been: “Lord, we want to know your Presence with us here”. Wonderfully – by His grace and favour – we really do!
Regular times of prayer are also held at our neighbouring churches…
Morning Prayer is at 8.30am Monday to Friday (9.00am on Thursdays), and Evening Prayer is at 5.30pm Monday to Friday
St Mary’s & St Margaret’s: Morning Prayer is at 9.30am on Saturdays
…and at Gage Road Chapel
Sunday mornings at 10.00am each week; and at 7.00pm on each fifth Sunday
The local clergy meet to pray together in a Prayer-Walk and Cafe Consultation each month, generally on a Wednesday morning. You are welcome to join in if you wish…
