Meets each Sunday, except when the whole Church Family worships together.
Age-related learning is offered in small groups with a variety of enjoyable activities, for those of school age.
There’s a younger children’s and family area provided alongside the worshipping congregation, for youngsters and a parent/guardian to feel relaxed and yet involved. A crèche can also be available if requested.
The teens group now follows a new study programme and on occasions will remain in the service.
All those working with children and young people have clear DBS certificates, as required (see Safeguarding page). Please contact a member of the Church Team for more information.
We’ve moved on, and there’s always something for 7’s to 17’s to explore in “The Box”.
We meet each Thursday evening between 6.45pm and 8.15pm.

Other youth activities are available nearby in the Sprowston area…
For example, the Sprowton Youth Cafe for 13 to 18 years, supported by SYEP, at St Cuthberts Church Centre (near the roundabout): every Tuesday evening, 7pm till 9pm.
Since 1949, when the 4th Norwich was formed, there has been an opportunity for boys and young men to meet on a Wednesday evening with the Boys’ Brigade at Sprowston Methodist Church (off Wroxham Road). The Boys’ Brigade is a Uniformed Christian Youth Organisation which was formed way back in 1883, but is still relevant and as needed in our modern times.
At the 4th we encourage any boy at any age to join us in fun and fellowship through a wide ranging programme of informal education to promote the “object” of the BB and to build lifelong skills and make lifelong friends.
The BB Object
“The advancement of Christ’s kingdom among Boys and the promotion of habits of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline, Self-respect and all that tends towards a true Christian manliness.”
We meet every Wednesday evening (during School term time) from 6:15pm to 7:30pm for the Anchor Section (5-8 years) and Junior Section (8-11 years) boys, and 7pm through to 8:30pm for the older Company/Sections.
All our staff are volunteers and are appointed by the Church Council and have clear DBS disclosure, many of whom have been members of the organisation through their childhood!
